Mr. Wolters has over 35 years of diversified oil and gas industry experience, including high-level engineering support, supervision and analysis in all aspects of well completions with a very strong emphasis on fracture stimulation. Mr. Wolters has designed and supervised over 3,000 fracture stimulation jobs as a consultant and for a multitude of companies ranging from multi-national corporations such as Exxon to small independents throughout North America. This includes experience in multiple basins, both conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
Prior to joining Mosaic Petroleum Analytics LLC, Mr. Wolters joined Unconventional Resources, LLC, a private equity-backed company, in 2008, focused on the exploration for and development of unconventional resources in North America, as their Senior Completions engineer in charge of all of the company’s technical fracturing program requirements and completions.
In 1991, Mr. Wolters was a co-founder of Ely and Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the design and supervision of fracture stimulation treatments, where he remained a partner for seventeen years. While at Ely, Mr. Wolters worked for multiple clients throughout North America while designing and supervising thousands of fracture treatments.
Mr. Wolters is an active member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), having served on various SPE committees and co-authored multiple SPE papers and articles over the years. He has also received a patent in relation to a better completion practice in certain types of gas/condensate reservoirs.
